Services
Volunteer
Volunteers help Friday Memorial Library enrich its services and will not be used to replace the work done by paid library staff. The volunteer program serves the needs throughout all library departments and services. The library staff and its volunteers work together for mutual satisfaction and for the benefit of the library and community. Curbside Pickup
Curbside pickup of materials is available as a convenience for any patron who needs it. Contact the library to schedule your pickup time and we will prepare your requested materials. Please allow adequate time for us to process your materials. If last-minute requests are made, we will do our best to accommodate timely pickups, but may not always be able to guarantee them. Please note that some items may not be eligible for curbside pickup. The size or value of an item may warrant indoor pickup only.
Materials will be located in a receptacle behind the curbside return box on the corner of Arch Avenue and First Street. Availability of curbside pickup services may be dependent on weather.
All items are checked out to the patron prior to being placed in the curbside pickup location, and any damages or loss of materials that may occur are the responsibility of the patron.
Book Club Support
The Friday Memorial Library is willing to provide assistance to book clubs in the community. Some of the ways we can do that include:
- Recommendations and advice on title selection
- Placing copies on hold for members of the book club
In order to provide this assistance to any book club, the Library needs to have the following information provided by the club:
- The name and contact information for a point person who will be in charge of managing the club account.
- Names of books that the club wishes to read
- Dates of book club meetings
For further information on how we can support your book club, contact us at 715.243.0431.
