Summer Reading Program 2024

Adventure Begins at Your Library:

June 17 – July 27

Start your summer adventure at the library with our all-ages summer reading program!

Register at newrichmondlibrary.beanstack.org or on the Beanstack app to join the all-ages program. Read and complete activities for a chance to win prizes!

Pre-Readers: Ages 0-4

Make reading part of your daily routine this summer! Each week record your child’s favorite book or magazine by Friday to earn that week’s reading prize. Prizes can be redeemed at the Front Desk or Youth Services Desk. We will verify that you have earned the prize in your Beanstack account. Complete extra activities to earn entries into our grand prize drawing for an Adventure Backpack.

Youth: Ages 5-9

Make reading part of your daily routine this summer! Each week record your favorite book, chapter or magazine by Friday to earn that week’s reading prize. Prizes can be redeemed at the Front Desk or Youth Services Desk. We will verify that you have earned the prize in your Beanstack account. Complete extra activities to earn entries into our grand prize drawing for an Adventure Backpack.

Tweens & Teens: Ages 10-17

Adults: Ages 18+

Read and complete activities to earn tickets. During the six weeks of the program, earn virtual tickets for every book read or activity completed to place toward our prize baskets. Prizes will be awarded after July 27th, 2024. Let your summer adventures begin at the library!
